Description

1) Each team will consist of five outfield players and a goalkeeper. Only six players from a team are permitted on the pitch at any time. Substitutions are unlimited during the game, but teams may only change their goalkeeper once. Substitutions can only be made when allowed to do so by the referee. Outgoing substitutes must leave the field of play before the replacement player enters the field of play. The player entering the field of play is active immediately and can receive the ball. Substitutes must stand outside the pitch perimeter.

2) ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR SHINPADS.

3) Footwear – Players are permitted to wear moulded football boots/blades but under no circumstances will players be allowed to wear screw-in or metal studs/blades. Astroturf training shoes are recommended. Referees are entitled to check player’s footwear before kick-off and any player not wearing appropriate boots will not be permitted to play.

4) The game will be started designated by the referee. After each goal is scored play will restart from the centre.

Only the defending goalkeeper is allowed inside the goal area, any defending player who deliberately goes inside the area who in the opinion of the referee interferes with play or has possession of the ball will have a penalty awarded against them. An indirect free kick will be awarded against an attacking player entering the area
